Advanced, automated learning capability analyzes historical information derived from each ink key and paper type, assuring preset accuracy.
There are no restrictions on the job-naming convention used by prepress. Information is extracted from job names and is assembled into a single job number that matches that shown on press operators’ job tickets.
Additional IntelliSet features include: • Versions for both multi-web and sheetfed presses • Seamlessly integral with most makes of consoles • Press console display and IntelliSet automatically stay in agreement • Accepts CIP, PDF, and TIFF files • Preview job images with presets • Presets ink sweeps • Manual ink-key adjustments can be made at system touch screen • Stuck keys are identified and logged for reporting
AutoPilot™ Closed-Loop Color Control System
AutoPilot can take input from offline scanners as well as from online scanners (consult online scanner manufacturer). When using an offline scanner, typically an X-Rite® unit, the operator can accept or reject the key adjustments displayed, or AutoPilot can be set to automatically execute key moves immediately following a scan. Using an X-Rite® IntelliTrax™ scanner, ink keys on a press begin their moves in 25 seconds or less from the moment a scan is initiated.
IntelliSet is a seamlessly- integral presetting system with features that assure high preset accuracy as well as easy to- learn touch-screen operation. The preset sequence is started by touch-selecting from an automated list of plated jobs. Color rotation and paper type (to compensate for ink absorbency) are easily assigned. IntelliSet also supports special colors.
